About This Site

This site was inspired by the memory of Margareta Sol Kubitz, who was with us until the tender age of 4. From those four short years, we have a treasure trove of happy memories and stories to be told — and telling these memories continues to be a source of comfort and healing.

This site hopes to inspire you to focus less on the story and pain of your loved one’s death, and more on your precious memories of them that fill you with love. The site also offers a glimpse into the experience of one bereaved mother’s journey of grief  — the pain, the feelings, the personal growth, and ultimately the hope she has found along the way. Articles and content are based on personal experience only, and intended to provide a sense of understanding and community for those experiencing grief.

Those we love remain with us

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart.
